Jeff Welskopf, LPC

Jeff is a licensed professional counselor with over ten years of experience working with adults in various settings including Mayhill Behavioral Hospital, Hope's Door New Beginning Center and in private practice.
After the loss of a close friend, Jeff changed careers to focus on helping those who were affected by suicide and depression and later dealing with regulating negative emotions. After another pivot in his career, he began to work with men that struggled with anger and relationship issues. He is passionate about helping others achieve some emotional regulation to live a more fulfilling life.
He helps teach people to find balance in a world where there are so many areas of stress and pain. He gives people practical tools to help with their journey of healing whether it be regulating emotions or addressing problematic behaviors. Jeff provides a safe space for those struggling to find ways to meet their goals.
Outside of anger management and relationship conflict, Jeff works well with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and stress. If you want to change your worn-out patterns and improve your mental health, call or email Jeff.
When not in the office, Jeff has a love for traveling, exploring Dallas and building Lego. He is a US Navy Veteran and has a love for sushi.
