Sometimes we need a safe place to share our struggles, a place to be understood, a place to get help.  I am here to provide that place for you.

Perhaps you feel stuck and are needing direction or freedom or resolution in one or more areas of life.  Maybe you feel a ton of anxiety or weariness and are looking for some relief.  These days, we often try to avoid negative feelings or living real life by turning to virtual worlds and other escapes that make us feel better.  Eventually, these substitutions for real living can take over and hold us captive against our will, preventing a happy, fulfilling life.

With grace and truth I will join with you in clearing away that which is hindering you and help you process feelings, make changes, and move forward.  I work especially from person-centered, existential, and acceptance & commitment therapy approaches that will be utilized in collaboration with you for your growth.

There is a beautiful "YOU" inside that is deeply aware of what really matters, where you hurt, what nourishes you.  Listening to this innermost voice can lead you into new perspectives, new practices, and wholehearted living.  I will help you heed this true "YOU" and detach from what holds you back so you can thrive in your strengths, passions, and relationships.

My faith-based perspective is very open, embracing spirituality as a loving and life-giving experience. Sustained by this Spirit, we will use established techniques and creative exploration as we work together.  I have 25 years of counseling experience, and look forward to working with you.
